Terms of Service
Last updated: February 12, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using PhlebBot ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
PhlebBot is an AI-powered educational tool designed to supplement phlebotomy training. The Service provides adaptive practice questions, clinical scenarios, and reference-backed explanations to help students prepare for certification exams.
3. Educational Disclaimer
PhlebBot is for educational purposes only. It is not a substitute for supervised clinical training, hands-on practice, or professional medical advice. Always follow your facility's policies, your clinical instructor's guidance, and applicable regulations. Do not use PhlebBot as the sole basis for clinical decision-making.
4. AI-Generated Content
Responses are generated by third-party AI models using your own API key. While we verify clinical content against curated references where possible, AI-generated content may contain errors. Content marked as "UNVERIFIED" has not been validated against our reference materials. You are responsible for verifying any clinical information before applying it.
5. Accounts and API Keys
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and any API keys you provide. You must use your own API keys from supported providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google). You are responsible for any charges incurred through your API key usage. PhlebBot does not control or guarantee pricing from third-party AI providers.
6. Subscription and Billing
The Service requires a paid subscription processed through Stripe. Subscriptions are billed monthly. A free trial period may be offered to new subscribers. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the customer portal — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial months.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
- Share your account credentials with others
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
- Use the Service to generate content that violates any applicable law
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PhlebBot and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
10. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
