PhlebBot vs PhleboPrep: common questions
What is the main difference between PhlebBot and PhleboPrep?
Both use AI to explain phlebotomy questions. PhleboPrep sells one-time passes of 1 to 3 months over a large question bank with spaced repetition, and covers the NCCT NCPT too. PhlebBot is a conversational AI tutor that asks you questions, teaches what you miss, tracks readiness in every domain of your exam, and shows CLSI, OSHA or CDC references when it finds a matching one. PhlebBot plans renew unless you cancel; PhleboPrep's do not.
Which one renews automatically?
PhlebBot does. Monthly renews every month, and the Exam Pass continues at $15/month after 3 months unless you cancel. We email you 7 days before it renews, and cancelling takes 2 clicks in Settings. PhleboPrep lists each plan as a one-time payment.
Which one has a refund policy?
PhleboPrep says it offers a 7-day refund guarantee on website purchases (see the source link in the table). PhlebBot does not refund partial periods; you can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
Does PhlebBot cover the NCCT NCPT?
No. PhlebBot covers the NHA CPT, ASCP PBT and AMT RPT only. If you are taking the NCCT NCPT, PhleboPrep covers it and PhlebBot does not.
Can I use both for free first?
Yes. PhlebBot's free practice sets need no account. PhleboPrep offers a few questions with no account and a weekly allowance with a free account; the details are in the table above with a link to their page.
